The New Initiative for Credible Leadership and several other election
observers that monitored yesterday’s rerun election in Rivers state
have demanded the cancellation of the election.
The Executive Director of the group, Reverend Steve Onwu alleged the
free use of arms to manipulate voters, killings as well as destruction
of lives and properties during the election
They added that nothing that can be described as a free and fair election took place in Rivers state on Saturday.
